Customer Success Architect

As a Customer Success Architect at Mixpanel, you will partner with enterprise customers throughout their journey to understand what drives value, from pre-sales proofs of concept to post-sales onboarding and implementation. You will set customers up for long-term success with scalable implementation and data governance best practices, consult on how to maximize the value of Mixpanel, and drive ROI. For large enterprise customers, you will also drive data trust and product adoption across 100+ end-user teams through change management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor providing strategic consultation on data architecture, governance, instrumentation, and business outcomes
  • Communicate at most levels of the customer's organization, design and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy, and unblock technical and organizational roadblocks
  • Own the customer's success with Mixpanel, documenting and delivering ROI throughout their journey
  • Own onboarding and data health for assigned customers/projects, including enhancements to data quality and tech stack integration
  • Engage with customers' engineering, product management, and marketing teams to handle technical onboarding and optimize deployments
  • Deliver technical services from data architecture consultations to adoption and change management best practices
  • Create scalable data governance practices and data trust, including data optimization and re-implementation projects
  • Balance project timelines, scope creep, and unanticipated issues while executing on success outcomes
  • Bridge the technical-business gap, defining a strategic vision with business stakeholders and executing it with the right contacts
  • Collaborate with technical and solutions partners and act as a technical sponsor for internal Mixpanel engagements

Requirements

  • Experience consulting on defining and delivering ROI through new tool implementations
  • Experience working with Director-level members of the customer organization to define and deliver a strategic vision
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at most levels, from developers on API details to Directors of Data Science/Product Management
  • Ability to manage complex projects with assorted client stakeholders across teams and departments
  • A demonstrated record in customer success, client-facing professional services, consulting, or technical project management
  • Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong process and/or project delivery discipline
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving customer needs

Nice to have

  • Experience in data querying, modeling, and transforming in at least one core tool (SQL, dbt, Python, BI tools, product analytics tools, etc.)
  • Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses like Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks
  • Familiarity with product analytics implementation methods like SDKs, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Event Streaming, and Reverse ETL
  • Familiarity with analytics best practices across business segments and verticals
  • Fluency in additional languages
