Sanofi is hiring a Data Classification, Standards & Definitions Partner in Budapest, the operational data partner enabling trusted Workday data across Organization Management, Position Management and Workplace domains. The role translates governance decisions into actionable data assets, supports workforce planning, analytics and AI initiatives, and leads the Organization Partners Network as a community of practice. It supports the HCM Global Process Owner's data ownership responsibilities through expert partnership, documentation and governance execution.

Responsibilities

  • Translate governance decisions into usable, consistent data assets and document approved definitions and data quality rules
  • Maintain the data catalog, glossary, lineage and definitions, ensuring data consistency and traceability
  • Classify data assets, manage data sharing agreements and run global data quality training and initiatives
  • Provide data partnership for master data entities and support data modelling activities within organizational and positional data domains
  • Investigate root causes of data quality issues in Workday and propose configuration improvements
  • Act as the key point of contact for Organization & Position Management data and support the HCM Global Process Owner
  • Run, train and engage the Organization Partners Network

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in data governance or data management in Workday or Reporting and Analytics
  • Workday HCM Certified (must), specifically Organization Management and Position Management modules
  • Experience in data classification, cataloging and business glossary management
  • Knowledge of data catalog tools (e.g. Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Microsoft Purview) as a business-side SME
  • Strong understanding of data quality frameworks and root cause analysis
  • Strong data analysis skills for identifying patterns, anomalies and quality issues in large volumes of data
  • Business acumen and understanding of HR/organizational processes
  • Understanding of foundational GDPR principles and data classification sensitivity levels

Nice to have

  • Experience facilitating communities of practice or stakeholder networks
  • Experience with master data management principles for organizational and HR data
  • Knowledge of Snowflake as a data platform
