Software Engineering Manager | Partner Content
Wellhub is hiring a Software Engineering Manager for its Partner Content team, a fully remote role open only to candidates in Portugal. The team owns the end-to-end journey of partner information, from upload in the Partners Portal to presentation in the Wellhub app, impacting millions of users daily. The manager leads a full-stack engineering team, provides technical guidance and mentorship, and partners with Product, Operations and Design.
Responsibilities
- ▹Lead a talented, agile full-stack engineering team using cutting-edge technologies at global scale
- ▹Provide technical guidance and career mentorship, fostering continuous learning, psychological safety and high performance
- ▹Establish and enforce gold standards for development, testing and CI/CD pipelines
- ▹Partner with Product, Operations and Design leads to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps
- ▹Develop, deliver, test, deploy, maintain and improve solutions with a cross-functional team
- ▹Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in production and write post-mortems
Requirements
- ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- ▹Proven experience as a Tech Lead with at least 2 years in a formal or informal leadership/management capacity
- ▹Skilled in architecting modern web and mobile applications and cloud-based architectures
- ▹Proficiency in one or more languages such as Go, Java, Kotlin, Scala or Python
- ▹Prior experience with Kotlin, Golang or Java, microservices and distributed systems (mandatory)
- ▹Solid understanding of RESTful web services and HTTP best practices
- ▹Application of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis
- ▹Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Redis

- ▹Familiarity with Golang as a valuable plus
