Senior Data Analyst - Acquisition
Pennylane is hiring a Senior Data Analyst for its Acquisition-focused Science & Analytics team (5+ people) within the Data department (40+ people). You will proactively use data to identify opportunities to grow the business and improve processes, act as a sparring partner for Sales & Operations leaders, and steer decision-making through rigorous analyses. The Science & Analytics team also owns the creation of data models in the data warehouse using dbt.
Responsibilities
- ▹Proactively use data to identify opportunities to grow the business or improve processes
- ▹Be a sparring partner for Sales & Operations leaders, anticipating key business questions and answering them with data and statistical skills
- ▹Steer decision-making through rigorous analyses, navigating ambiguity and collaborating across domains when needed
- ▹Drive the self-service analytics approach by understanding colleagues' data needs and promoting a data-driven culture
- ▹Contribute to creating data models in the data warehouse using dbt
- ▹Contribute to shaping the Data Engineering roadmap to deliver the best experience on the data platform
Requirements
- ▹Previous experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in scale-up environments (5-6 years)
- ▹Seasoned working with SQL, dbt and data visualization tools
- ▹Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders beyond the data team
- ▹Strong business acumen, seen as a trusted partner by business stakeholders
- ▹Strong communication skills, able to articulate ideas clearly
- ▹Fluent in English
