On Alan's Infra Crew within Tech Foundations, you'll operate and evolve the multi-cloud foundations Alan runs on so product crews ship safely and quickly. The mission spans cloud and Infrastructure-as-Code, data and application platforms, reliability and observability, and governance, compliance and FinOps.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Own and evolve Alan's multi-cloud footprint and Infrastructure-as-Code stack (Terraform, Terramate)
  • ▹Operate and evolve data and application platforms (PostgreSQL/Aurora, events pipeline, async workloads, DB migration tooling)
  • ▹Own platform uptime and latency SLOs, observability (Datadog) and the incident response process
  • ▹Maintain a sustainable shared on-call rotation
  • ▹Own cross-cutting concerns: governance, compliance enablement and infrastructure cost (FinOps)

Requirements

  • ▹Platform / infrastructure engineering experience
  • ▹Experience with multi-cloud (AWS, GCP) and Kubernetes
  • ▹Experience with Terraform/Terramate Infrastructure-as-Code
  • ▹Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis and observability tooling (Datadog)
  • ▹Experience with reliability practices, SLOs and on-call

Nice to have

  • ▹Experience enabling international expansion of infrastructure
  • ▹Cloudflare and GitHub Actions experience
  • ▹FinOps and compliance enablement experience
