Staff Mobile Engineer - React Native (x/f/m)
Doctolib is looking for a Staff Mobile Engineer with strong React Native expertise to join its Patient domain. The mission is to transform the Doctolib mobile app into a full health companion powered by AI to help people lead healthier lives. You will improve the quality, UX and depth of the mobile application while contributing to the technical foundations of mobile development for the team. The work happens in feature teams within an agile environment, collaborating with product, design and business teams. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid role in Paris.
Responsibilities
- ▹Establish and evolve mobile architecture patterns and technical standards for the patient domain
- ▹Drive technical excellence across mobile development, ensuring high code quality and best practices
- ▹Contribute to the technical roadmap and guide architectural decisions for the mobile platform
- ▹Mentor and support mobile engineers in implementing robust, scalable solutions
- ▹Lead by example in building features that enhance the user experience and app performance
Requirements
- ▹At least 5+ years of software engineering experience building high-usage mobile applications, ideally in B2C environments
- ▹Deep expertise in React Native and mobile development best practices
- ▹Track record of establishing technical standards and improving code quality at scale
- ▹Product-oriented, comfortable guiding teammates and suggesting tradeoffs to balance business needs with technical constraints
- ▹Strong technical leadership and the ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges
- ▹Fluent in English
Nice to have
- ▹Experience working in healthcare or other regulated industries
- ▹Contributions to open-source mobile projects or mobile developer communities
- ▹Experience with native iOS or Android development alongside React Native
