Software Engineer in Test - Onsite or Remote (FR, UK, DE, NL)
Dataiku is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to ensure only the highest-quality products are delivered to customers. The position is onsite from Paris, London, Berlin, or Amsterdam, or remote from these countries. Dataiku's platform is a single page web app built with Angular/AngularJS integrating with a large big data ecosystem; the testing stack is based on Python, Pytest, Selenium, and Allure, with CI on Jenkins and AWS.
Responsibilities
- ▹Code advanced automated test suites to exercise the applications at all levels
- ▹Define manual testing plans, test strategies, and priorities
- ▹Work with developers to ensure they deliver testable code
- ▹Improve existing test infrastructure and frameworks (virtual machines, containers, auto-provisioning, UI testing)
- ▹Mentor and help new QA team members
Requirements
- ▹Experience in software test engineering with a significant part in automation (API and/or UI testing)
- ▹Belief that collaborating with developers is key to a good testing strategy
- ▹Experience with at least one object-oriented language (such as Python, Java, C#, or C++)
- ▹Discussing choices before implementing them
Nice to have
- ▹Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kubernetes
- ▹Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
- ▹Basic knowledge of Machine Learning
