As a Data Analyst at Qonto you partner with the Corporate & Operations teams (Finance, Strategy, Customer Care, Customer Success, AML, Fraud, Banking Ops) to move them from reactive reporting to data-driven daily decisions. You work directly with the Lead Data Analyst for Ops & Finance in a team that is transforming what analytics means at Qonto: fewer dashboards on demand, more business decisions actually changed. Qonto is a European finance workspace for SMEs, profitable since 2023 and serving 600,000+ customers across 8 countries.
Responsibilities
- ▹Own operational BI end-to-end: build, consolidate and maintain dashboards used daily by COO, Strategy and Finance stakeholders
- ▹Deliver analyses that drive action, going deep on retention drivers, product usage, churn and the financial impact of inactive clients
- ▹Follow through on each analysis until a decision is actually made
- ▹Model reusable, documented data assets in DBT on top of Snowflake to enable self-service
- ▹Participate in the BI migration from Tableau to Omni and help build the semantic layer as the single source of truth for every KPI
- ▹Manage change across departments and unlock AI usage to deliver insights at scale
Requirements
- ▹Deep SQL skills: complex queries with joins, CTEs and window functions, understanding grain, avoiding double counting and debugging inconsistent results
- ▹Comfortable working in Snowflake and enough DBT knowledge to be effective or learn fast
- ▹Analytical thinking that lands decisions: start from the business question, define the right metric and deliver a clear recommendation
- ▹Track record of changing at least one real business decision through your analysis
- ▹BI craft focused on adoption, with clear metric definitions and data context
- ▹Stakeholder management in large, fast-moving organizations, adapting the message from COO to ops analyst
- ▹Fluent in English
