Senior SRE - Cloud Network Engineering
N26, a fully cloud-hosted digital bank, is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer/SRE to join the Connectivity Team within the Platform Engineering domain. The team enables secure, performant and compliant connectivity of services and partners. You will design, develop, implement and own cloud network products, services and solutions that improve the security, reliability and connectivity of N26's unified network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- ▹Design, develop, implement and own cloud network products, services and solutions to improve the security, reliability and connectivity of the N26 network infrastructure
- ▹Partner with product, SRE, security and other stakeholders to understand their needs and build the right connectivity solutions
- ▹Take an active part in strategy and roadmap definition and prioritisation
- ▹Mentor and support other team members
- ▹Expand and develop your cloud knowledge, skills and technology expertise
Requirements
- ▹At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, SRE or a related field
- ▹Proven experience designing, implementing and maintaining hybrid network architectures
- ▹Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and services
- ▹Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS core networking: Transit Gateway, Elastic Load Balancers, VPCs, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPNs and Route53
- ▹Knowledge of general core networking: firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs, NAC, virtualization
- ▹Experience with network security principles and related products
- ▹Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Go
- ▹Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting and incident management
- ▹Previous experience with Linux, Atlantis, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
