As a Technical Support Engineer on Redis' Global Customer Technical Support Team, you diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for top worldwide customers using Redis Enterprise Software. You work across the full stack, from code to sysadmin to networking to performance, on Cloud and on-premises deployments. The role offers ongoing learning and close collaboration with Engineering.

Responsibilities
- ▹Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, reproducing and replicating customer environments
- ▹Document issues and contribute to internal team documentation
- ▹Collaborate with Engineering to provide solutions and root cause analysis
- ▹Analyze performance questions along the data path (including networks) for Cloud or on-premises deployments
- ▹Provide technical expertise during testing, deployment and upgrading of Redis software
- ▹Manage critical customer issues and handle escalations, facilitating cross-team communication
- ▹Participate in new product development, customer training and support-related activities
Requirements
- ▹At least five years of relevant experience in the enterprise software industry
- ▹Strong background in scripting or programming languages
- ▹Working knowledge of Cloud-based and on-premise environments
- ▹Expert working knowledge of Linux/Unix and networking (TCP/IP)
- ▹Proficiency in written and verbal communication and presentation (in English)
- ▹Strong technical background with excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- ▹High availability and commitment to customers
Nice to have
- ▹Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Information Systems
- ▹Experience with NoSQL databases (especially Redis)
- ▹Experience with container orchestration environments such as Kubernetes
