Redis' Product Security team embeds security into every stage of development, combining automation, modern tooling and AI capabilities. As a Senior Product Security Engineer you own vulnerability management end-to-end and work hands-on with engineering teams to remediate issues and improve security posture. The role has high ownership and is based in Bulgaria.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Own and operate vulnerability management processes from discovery through remediation and reporting
  • ▹Implement, evaluate and manage AI-based security scanning tools
  • ▹Conduct product security assessments using traditional and AI-assisted techniques (SAST, DAST, code analysis, LLM-assisted review)
  • ▹Partner with engineering teams to triage findings and drive remediation
  • ▹Integrate security tools and workflows into CI/CD pipelines
  • ▹Manage and triage findings from bug bounty platforms (e.g., HackerOne)
  • ▹Build automation to reduce manual effort in vulnerability tracking and reporting

Requirements

  • ▹6+ years of experience in application security, product security or a related field
  • ▹Strong experience operating vulnerability management programs (triage, prioritization, reporting)
  • ▹Hands-on experience using Jira or similar tools to manage security issues at scale
  • ▹Experience with bug bounty platforms such as HackerOne or Bugcrowd
  • ▹Practical experience with security tools (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)
  • ▹Experience building automation (scripting, APIs, pipelines, integrations)
  • ▹Strong understanding of common application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, secure coding)

Nice to have

  • ▹Experience with AI/ML-driven security tools or workflows (LLM-assisted code review, AI-based scanning)
  • ▹Familiarity with cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, containers, microservices)
  • ▹Experience integrating security into modern CI/CD pipelines
