The lead mentors engineers, drives agile execution and owns operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- ▹Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team, mentoring engineers to deliver high-quality software
- ▹Drive agile execution and data-informed decision-making across delivery and roadmap
- ▹Evolve the AI Services platform with cross-functional AI research, product and cloud teams
- ▹Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs and KPIs, building observability and incident management
- ▹Recruit and develop talent, fostering a culture of technical curiosity and operational excellence
Requirements
- ▹6+ years as a software engineer in backend, cloud or distributed systems, with 2+ years in technical leadership
- ▹Proven success leading product-focused teams delivering highly available, customer-facing services
- ▹Strong background in software design and architecture for scalable, fault-tolerant systems
- ▹Proficiency in a back-end language (Go, Java, Python or similar) and deep CI/CD, testing and observability knowledge (Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger)
Nice to have
- ▹Hands-on cloud-native experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Argo CD
- ▹Experience productionizing AI/ML systems and model-serving
- ▹Experience building AI agents with frameworks like LangGraph
- ▹Experience with Redis and contributions to open-source distributed systems projects
