ClickHouse is hiring Full Stack Software Engineers for its Control Plane team, which focuses on user experience and automated, scalable cloud infrastructure deployment and lifecycle management. The team builds and maintains the Cloud Console, a sophisticated web application for managing database services, running queries through a SQL IDE, exploring data with dashboards, and monitoring system performance.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Design and deliver scalable, highly available, resilient, and secure cloud-based infrastructure
  • ▹Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship application features
  • ▹Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and infrastructure
  • ▹Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • ▹Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
  • ▹Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

  • ▹6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or platform engineering
  • ▹Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React
  • ▹Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
  • ▹Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications
  • ▹Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
  • ▹Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

  • ▹Experience with ClickHouse
  • ▹Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • ▹Previous experience developing analytics or data-intensive applications
  • ▹Experience with Auth0 or similar integrations
  • ▹Monorepo experience (Yarn workspaces, TurboRepo, Nx)
  • ▹Previous work on developer tools, IDEs, or BI platforms
  • ▹WebSocket / real-time features experience
